Timeout!

Tuesday, November 17, 2009 2
I'm taking a break from this (almost) 3-hour period of pointless net surfing and blog hopping. So I made this sort of meme. Ok, here goes!

Last food I ate:

Tuna sandwich. If you've been reading my blog, you'll know I'm kind of on a diet. Emphasis on the kind of. :p

Last song I heard:

Anything But Ordinary by Avril Lavigne. This track is included in Avril's first album, Let Go. Has anyone heard it?
And will someone agree with me that this album is her finest work? Not that I've bought her latter album/s. But I've heard some of the songs, and they just can't compare with those in Let Go.

Last book I read:

Angus, Thongs and Full Frontal Snogging by Louise Rennison. This one is HILARIOUS. YA and chick lit fans, try it! I'm still reading Uglies by Scott Westerfeld... and I'm still not sure what to make of it. Hmm.

That's it! Feel free to join in if you like. Er, as if. I'm not even sure anyone is reading this. :)

One of the best movies of the year!

It's different. It's real. It's AMAZING.

My Twilight obsession is back

Thursday, November 12, 2009 2
Yep, it's back. And it led me to buy this.

And yes, that is my left hand over there. :)

What I really wanted were the free trading cards included. I was looking for one w/ RPattz's picture, but I got these instead...

I guess it's pretty obvious which of the two cards made me happy. :p

It's not? Here's a better pic.

Alex Meraz (the guy at the left with the big tattoo) plays Paul, one of the werewolves, in New Moon.

That is a huge improvement over this, by the way.

For those of you who are interested on what the mysterious (not) box contains...
  • Mentos 50 piece-bag
  • Mini Mentos 25 piece-bag
  • Mini Chupa Chups 15 piece-bag
  • 2 New Moon trading cards!
I'm not sure but I think this is only available here in the Philippines.

*I bought mine at Rustan's Supermarket for PHP 102.50

Proofread?... I don't.

Monday, November 9, 2009 2
You may have read one of my blog posts which had misspellings everywhere, repeating words (i.e. after after), or even some grammatical errors here and there (though I really hope not!). Well, that's because I don't proofread. Though there are times when I check them after publishing. After which, I end up editing them at least four times. Okay, I'm totally exaggerating here.

I don't know why, but when it comes to proofreading, I'd just get so bored that I'll find myself already clicking the 'Publish Post' button. Proofreading school papers, on the other hand, is a different matter. Well, unless it's an essay written in the Filipino language - I mean, there's no red and green lines from MS Word to help me at all! :p

On a different note... Classes will be starting tomorrow so I'd probably would not be blogging all that much. That's all! Till my next random post!

I (sort of) love basketball.

Saturday, November 7, 2009 0
I don't seem like the type, but it's true. I watch basketball. I enjoy basketball. I love hearing the fans cheering their hearts out for their team. But here's where the 'sort of' part comes in. I only watch games when people I like (meaning: people I'm crushing on) play. And no other player can entice me into watching basketball better than this guy:

Rico Villanueva aka my favorite[st] player ever! :)

He may not have the best stats right now, but he is the best for me. I love how he plays each game with such passion for playing and winning that you just can't help but cheer him on and root for his team to win. At least, that's how it is for me. :)

I'm really grateful that he got me hooked on basketball. It's AMAZING, especially when you get to watch it live. Seriously.

Not a fan of basketball? Still, try watching your favorite games live! It's a whole new different experience! If you're into football, you can start by buying Notre Dame Stadium Tickets or Soldier Field Tickets. But if you're really not the sporty type, maybe you could just buy some Rosemont Theater Tickets and go watch some concerts or plays to give you that same high feeling!
