I'm the Queen of Typos! *Grumbles*

I admit it. I've never been proud of my typing skills. When I was in grade school, I used to envy my mom whenever she would look at a copy of whatever she's typing (which were usually my school projects, LOL) and just press down the keys without even bothering to look at both the keyboard and the monitor if she's doing it right. So I asked her how she does that and she said something like, 'You'll be the same when you get older'. Yeah, right. :p

When I was a high school freshman, we were supposed to create our own 'publication' for our computer class. Nothing grand, just something to help you hone your Pagemaker skills. One time, I was typing up an article I made for that when one of my classmates suddenly came over my workplace.

Our conversation:
(translated to English for the benefit of everyone)

Me: (typing)
Classmate: Hey, do you want me to type that up for you?
Me: Huh? Why? Don't you have something else to do?
Classmate: Yeah, but it looks like it'll take you all day to finish that.
Me: (to myself: WTF???????? I can't believe he just said that! (I mean, we weren't even close so I couldn't take that one lightheartedly.) Who does he think he is, he doesn't even type that fast himself! You... You... You just wait! I'll show you!)

Of course I never said any of those things to him. Back then, I was the girl who was always quiet and never got mad at anybody. :)

And so I just said:

(putting on my poker face) No, thanks. I can manage.

Now, I guess my typing abilities have improved a bit, but still not as good as I would have wanted to be.

Just look at what Typing Maniac thinks of me.
